Shruthi S, a Class nine student says, “I enjoy playing the A R Rahman dress up game on the websites 123bee.com and 123peppy.com. I usually dress him in hues of black as ARR is usually dressed in black.” Even design students haven’t been able resist the temptation to style Rahman. John Richard, from NIFT says, “Celebrity dress-up games are interesting, but what’s most exciting about dressing up Rahman is that he is usually very simply dressed, but here you have the freedom to experiment with his clothes, accessories and even his hairstyle!”
An anonymous A.R. Rahman fan recently developed a game, which is based on the concept of giving the musician the Oscar award.
All one needs to do is to throw the Oscar statue to A R Rahman, wherever hepops up on the screen and he will collect the award, thus adding to his coveted list of awards.
Speaking about the game, Amrith Goswami, a gaming enthusiast says, “I came across the game in a popular tech discussion forum and I was instantly hooked to it. Since the time of ARR’s Oscar wins, the link, http://www.ehotdiscussion.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/arr.swf has been doing the rounds. What I like best about the game is the background design, which is like graffiti and has the names of all his awards.” For some like Arjun Raj, playing the game is a matter of pride.
