We are thinking that indexing services are used on Search Engines only.. na na na… It is first used in OS only, later they developed this into a massive program which is turns became Search Engine Tool..

Indexing Service in XP

1. Go to Start
2. Click Control Panel
3. Double-click Add/Remove Programs
4. Click the Add/Remove Window Components
5. Uncheck the Indexing services
6. Click Next

By this u can stop indexing your files periodically in your windows searches… by doing this it doesn’t index often..
