NDTV NewsNet2.0 is a famous program in NDTV India, as all day they provide some interesting segments by 11:30PM (+5:30 GMT), yesterday night  i was eagerly waiting to see NewsNet2.0, in my suspense on the program yesterday they had an interview with Shailesh Rao, Managing Director, Google India. shailesh Rao_MD_googleindia Then i decided that there must be some new things gonna debate here and google people won’t let it in TV interviews, but i was betrayed because Shailesh Rao announced that Googlebot is now crawling Indian Elections.

Yes Google India Going to launch a new website for Indian election soon which we can expect in the url http://www.google.co.in/intl/en/landing/loksabha2009/ (as Shailesh Rao said)

Not only he announced this news but shown us the demo model of the sites to the audience. the site will be updated regularly with the help of National Election Watch, an umbrella group of 1,200 NGOs.  It was a very nice effort.

I saw that program on late night  i couldn’t remember what the page is exactly, but here i give u how it looks alike.

here is the original site snapshot

Soon i will post the video streaming of the interview here.

I am sorry guys i couldn’t found their retelecast  as they are busy in broadcasting Guwhati bomb blast and some election hot news. But if i found i will definitely post in this page, because the man Shailesh is really a correct person for google.co.in.
