Increasing File System Caching
To increase the amount of memory Windows will locked for I/O operations:

xp tips & tricks_ehtodiscussion.com Start Regedit
Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetControlSession ManagerMemory Management
Edit the key IoPageLockLimit
